Studio Director

 

Brent Wall is a professional landscape architect and horticulturist living with his Wife Traci and daughter Lillian in Oklahoma City.  Over the last 15 years, Brent has been involved in conceiving and constructing meaningful and sustainable landscapes across Oklahoma.  Brent began his career as a gardener and construction specialist at the OU Health Sciences Center where he helped create numerous gardens and campus improvements.  Brent spent his time as an intern landscape architect at Howard-Fairbairn Site Design where he was engaged in a host of large projects both in the public and private realm.  Moving forward, Brent served the Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department as a landscape architect responsible for the master planning, conceptual design, schematic design, construction documentation and construction administration for projects of various scales and complexity.  During his tenure with the City of Oklahoma City, Brent served on the steering committees for the Myriad Botanical Gardens, Project 180 Streetscape and Core to Shore Park.

 

Currently Brent is the Director of LAUD Studio, a landscape architecture practice focused on parks and recreation, urban design, campus and residential landscapes. His work for LAUD Studio entails the day to day management of the firm along with directing landscape architecture and oversight for construction documentation.

 

Brent has served as an adjunct faculty member for both the University of Oklahoma Landscape Architecture program as well as the Oklahoma State University Oklahoma City Horticulture program, teaching courses in plant materials and computer technology.

 

Brent’s service to his profession and community include a position on the OU Board of Visitors for the Landscape Architecture Program, Immediate Past-President of the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Uptown 23rd Beautification Committee, Heritage Hills East Neighborhood Association as well as the General Council for the Kaw Nation of Oklahoma.
