Cecile Bruner climbing roses will gradually weave themselves through the metal partitions behind the cabana, atop the east wall, and over the entry archway, greeting the homeowners and guest with a gorgeous fragrance while also adding a soft layer of privacy.
What was once a closed-off and outdated space has been restructured to function as a covered patio featuring a new fireplace and furnishings.
Mismatched modular coping with awkward jointing was replaced with new integrated coping that follows the pool’s curves for a seamless look.
To bring stronger balance and symmetry into the pool area, a set of planting beds were introduced on the west side to mirror those running along its east side.
A mix of high heat tolerant, low water use, and pollinator friendly plantings were added to existing raised planters. Layers of fencing and columns were simplified to create a cohesive background.
Plantings support an array of pollinators and provide four season interest.
