JTRH Healing Garden

INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Hospital is home to one of the region's most progressive rehabilitation centers and this commitment to well-being extends to the garden. LAUD worked with INTEGRIS to design a restorative healing garden that combines interactive plantings, therapeutic elements, and moments of rest for patients and healthcare workers alike.

Studies have shown that recovery can be expedited when there is direct interaction with nature, and this garden engages patients to walk along the garden loop, participate in group exercises, plant in raised garden beds, and commune with loved ones.
